Tattered Angels Giveaway!

We have a question for all of you and if you post your answer here on our blog before Sept. 5, you could win some amazing products from Tattered Angels one of our featured sponsors for the cruise! Allison had the delightful opportunity to "test drive" their Glimmer Mist and accessories (see above layout) and wanted to share some with you to try!! It is too much fun!!

So... here is our question:

On our "Crop Crawl" Sail Away with Crop and Cruise event in Calgary on Sat. Nov. 1 where we will take a bus tour to assorted Calgary scrapbook stores and then end up for a Crop Party where we can then play with all our goodies... would you want to pay extra and ride in a more luxurious bus or would you rather save your money for shopping and travel in a school bus?

Even if you aren't from Calgary and can't join us on our "Crop Crawl", we'd love to hear your opinion! The Tattered Angels bundle you can win will include some Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chips and a completed Glimmer Glass Album (winter themed)... over $50 value! We will pick one winner from the participating blogs!

Let us know!

If I were there, I'd prefer to go the cheap school bus route and save money for shopping. Unfortunately Ottawa is more than a hop skip and a jump away...sounds like this will be fun.

I say lets go with the cheap bus and we can use some glimmer mist to create a more luxurious ride!

If I was there I would be fine with the cheap bus too! Sounds like a fun plan!

The school bus will be a hoot and saving money to buy more scrapbooking candy is definitely a hit with me!!

Linda Beeson said...

I think I could go either way! The nicer bus would be a plus and probably more comfortable but if the ride isn't too long, that wouldn't really matter in the long run so the school bus would be just fine.

If I were there, I'd choose the school bus -- that way I can buy more goodies! :)

I would take the school bus and save the money for shopping. I had the pleasure of taking the bus to school as a kid. It was fun to see all your friends everyday.

I just rode in a school bus in Calgary while my son's ball team played in the Westerns this past summer. It was a blast, all the windows where down, it was a beautiful day and the driver had the tunes playing. O.K. it's a little colder in November - it is a heated school bus right?- but I would rather have more money to play with.

I say School Bus. Save some $$$ and as long as it is just driving between the stores I wouldn't care. I agree save money for the shopping--the most important part:)

i'll have to hop on the school bus train too - more money for shopping is always good! i still ride those school bus types every day! i work out of town and the place provides a ride, in a school bus type - it's definately not that bad!

The DIVA PRINCESS in me says luxury coach, but my bargain-hunting prowess totally favours the school bus. Don't know if I can make it, but regardless of the mode of transportation,it sounds like a blast!!!

I would rather save my money - but i only have one great store in saskatoon.

Hey all you Calgary "Crop Crawlers" -
Although I am seriously into style, sophistication & the posh comfort of a luxury bus, I would definitely agree with the majority and would need to sacrifice my stylish habits and ride on a school bus {LOL!!!}. So ladies....my vote would be for grabbing my sweats & baseball cap (don't just grab them; actually put them on before you leave the house), swing my purse over my shoulder, count my Bazzill Cardstock before I leave, and prepare myself for the most amazing "Crop Crawl" of the year ..... riding a school bus!!!
Sincerely your MB non-Crop Crawler (but soooo wish I could join y'all),

{Featured Instructor '07 & '09}
Have fun & don't do anything I wouldn't do!!!

Definitely the school bus. I don't think it's about the ride, it's more about the companions! Sounds like a blast!!!

I would also save my money and use it for shopping. I use to love to be in my school bus almost 15 years ago... Love it! I lived far away from school and I would be picked up at the same time as the little school kids to go to high-school and just slept the hole way!!!!

Anonymous said...

It sounds like a whole lot of fun. I am okay with either bus...maybe if not too many of us, use school bus...if bigger crowd use the other bus??? Hope to be on it.

save my money for shopping is my answer!

I think this one is a no brainer!!
Take the cheaper bus and save more for the thing we all love to do.
Shop for scrapbooking supplies!!

When it comes down to it the destination is all that matters. How we get there isn't all that important if you are having fun in the process!!

I would vote for the school bus and have more money to spend shopping. The ride can't be that long in between scrapbook stores and having that extra cash would be great! You can never have too much scrapbooking stuff............a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

ok girls out there! I rode a rickety little yellow bus everyday of my school years (being a farm girl!) and yes, they are not luxury. but take the cash and buy more supplies!!!!The laughter and giggles that take place on a bus are the best! plus making new friends is always fun! I call shot gun on one of the bump seats!(back row) just kidding, I'm still pondering driving up for that weekend. Trying to talk Jim into needing a visit with his cousins! maybe I'll see you guys there...after all it is only 6 hours away.

I'd pay for a more luxious ride, just because I know what the traffic can be like.

I'd rather take the cheaper ride and have more money to shop with for sure! The ride would only last a short period of time compared to the enjoyment I would get from all the extra goodies I could pick up! :) Thanks for the opportunity!

Plus taking the School bus would be a momentus occasion, a time to remember and reflect on the many years of riding the yellow beast that I had to endure! :o)
