We have a question for all of you and if you post your answer here on our blog before Sept. 5, you could win some amazing products from Tattered Angels one of our featured sponsors for the cruise! Allison had the delightful opportunity to "test drive" their Glimmer Mist and accessories (see above layout) and wanted to share some with you to try!! It is too much fun!!
So... here is our question:
On our "Crop Crawl" Sail Away with Crop and Cruise event in Calgary on Sat. Nov. 1 where we will take a bus tour to assorted Calgary scrapbook stores and then end up for a Crop Party where we can then play with all our goodies... would you want to pay extra and ride in a more luxurious bus or would you rather save your money for shopping and travel in a school bus?
Even if you aren't from Calgary and can't join us on our "Crop Crawl", we'd love to hear your opinion! The Tattered Angels bundle you can win will include some Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chips and a completed Glimmer Glass Album (winter themed)... over $50 value! We will pick one winner from the participating blogs!
Let us know!

If I were there, I'd prefer to go the cheap school bus route and save money for shopping. Unfortunately Ottawa is more than a hop skip and a jump away...sounds like this will be fun.
I say lets go with the cheap bus and we can use some glimmer mist to create a more luxurious ride!
If I was there I would be fine with the cheap bus too! Sounds like a fun plan!
The school bus will be a hoot and saving money to buy more scrapbooking candy is definitely a hit with me!!
I think I could go either way! The nicer bus would be a plus and probably more comfortable but if the ride isn't too long, that wouldn't really matter in the long run so the school bus would be just fine.
If I were there, I'd choose the school bus -- that way I can buy more goodies! :)
I would take the school bus and save the money for shopping. I had the pleasure of taking the bus to school as a kid. It was fun to see all your friends everyday.

I just rode in a school bus in Calgary while my son's ball team played in the Westerns this past summer. It was a blast, all the windows where down, it was a beautiful day and the driver had the tunes playing. O.K. it's a little colder in November - it is a heated school bus right?- but I would rather have more money to play with.
Cathy
I say School Bus. Save some $$$ and as long as it is just driving between the stores I wouldn't care. I agree save money for the shopping--the most important part:)
Stacey
NO WAY on the luxury!!! I am NOT a luxury girl...unless we are talking about scrapbooking supplies! Save every penny you can to buy up that Tattered Angels goodness! Glimmer me up a notch baby!!!
I would totally go for the school bus - more $ for shopping!!
School bus all the way. Who doesn' want more money for spending :)
I'm all for the school bus, in order to put more money towards supporting my serious scrapbook shopping habit!
Cori R
definately get the school bus...get crazy pictures to use with the new scrapbook supplies you'll get with the money you saved
Go for the schoolbus....and more money for shopping. Anything for more shopping $$ I say.
I'd rather have more money for shopping! :)
i'll have to hop on the school bus train too - more money for shopping is always good! i still ride those school bus types every day! i work out of town and the place provides a ride, in a school bus type - it's definately not that bad!
The DIVA PRINCESS in me says luxury coach, but my bargain-hunting prowess totally favours the school bus. Don't know if I can make it, but regardless of the mode of transportation,it sounds like a blast!!!
I would rather save my money - but i only have one great store in saskatoon.

Hey all you Calgary "Crop Crawlers" -
Although I am seriously into style, sophistication & the posh comfort of a luxury bus, I would definitely agree with the majority and would need to sacrifice my stylish habits and ride on a school bus {LOL!!!}. So ladies....my vote would be for grabbing my sweats & baseball cap (don't just grab them; actually put them on before you leave the house), swing my purse over my shoulder, count my Bazzill Cardstock before I leave, and prepare myself for the most amazing "Crop Crawl" of the year ..... riding a school bus!!!
Sincerely your MB non-Crop Crawler (but soooo wish I could join y'all),

Have fun & don't do anything I wouldn't do!!!
School bus sounds great as long as it stops at all Scrapbook Stores. More money for shoppping :o)
Diane
I would totally save my money and use it for shopping. Cheaper bus.... non-crop crawler....
I always loved to ride on a school bus, so I say lets go cheap to spend more money on scrap supplies of course
Definitely the school bus. I don't think it's about the ride, it's more about the companions! Sounds like a blast!!!
I would also save my money and use it for shopping. I use to love to be in my school bus almost 15 years ago... Love it! I lived far away from school and I would be picked up at the same time as the little school kids to go to high-school and just slept the hole way!!!!
It sounds like a whole lot of fun. I am okay with either bus...maybe if not too many of us, use school bus...if bigger crowd use the other bus??? Hope to be on it.
save my money for shopping is my answer!
I too would go the cheaper route and spend more on "stuff".... maybe take a neato group shot and do a school bus layout. LOL.
i would want to ride the cheap bus...more money to scrap sounds great!!!!!!!!!!
I would take the school bus, more money for scrap'n stuff... LOL And more fun... Although I rode the school bus for 12 years of school... wish I could be there... Have fun everyone...
Peggy Steffen
I'd totally go on the cheap bus and buy more glimmer mists!!
I would vote for the school bus... nothing like a little nostalgia and extra money for shopping!
definetely - save money to SHOP!!! - if i were able to join in the tour!!
i'd be up for saving money for scrapping ANYWAY i could.......heck, i'd even be up for the old "fred flinstone".....cut the bottom out and i'd start peddling! LOL
but, seeing as how i'm going to Kathy's shindig in NB....y'all will have to tell me how much FUN you had.
cant' wait to meet you girls on the cruise!
Kelly(paws on scrapbooking)
I would totally ride in the cheap bus if it meant spending more money on the fun stuff!!!!!! DUH!!!
I think this one is a no brainer!!
Take the cheaper bus and save more for the thing we all love to do.
Shop for scrapbooking supplies!!
When it comes down to it the destination is all that matters. How we get there isn't all that important if you are having fun in the process!!
ladyluck@shaw.ca
I'd go for the cheaper bus. Sure sounds like fun!
If I were going...ahhh duh, more money to shop with! Looking forward to the Saskatoon Crop...I am in for That one!
I'd take the bus and save the money for SHOPPING.
Nothing wrong with taken the school bus.... the kids do it everyday.
If I were going, I would definitely vote for the school bus too, more money saved for shiny pretty things! See you in Saskatoon!
I would vote for the school bus and have more money to spend shopping. The ride can't be that long in between scrapbook stores and having that extra cash would be great! You can never have too much scrapbooking stuff............a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
I'd prefer to save my money for shopping and travel on a school bus.
If I were coming...which I would love to by the way..but can't! :( I would rather save my money for shopping at the stores and ride in a cheaper bus! It would be a blst no matter what vehicle and who isn't going to want to buy stuff at every stop!
Wendy from Kerrobert...who is coming to your Saskatoon event!
I would rather have the scrapbooking money of course!!! I'm sure the bus rides between stores will be filled with lots of talking and comfort won't matter!
Kim Deibert
I would prefer to go on a cheaper bus & have more money to spend on scrap stuff!
Theresa Schmidt
School bus all the way!!!
I'd say school bus, I like the save money to buy more stuff BUT...
on a school bus, where would you put all the purchases along the way??? Go for the bigger bus with undercarriage storage & BUY, BUY, BUY!
I definitely would like to save my money for scrapbooking, so the school bus it would be!!
Sadly I'm unable to attend But i would take the cheap route.Who wouldn't want more money to spend oh scrapbooking.....
angela grimard
I would rather go on a cheap bus, and save my money for more supplies. I have recently been introduced to glimmer mist, and would love to expand my selection :)
Like most of the gals here, I would pick the cheap transport and save my money for shopping!
ok girls out there! I rode a rickety little yellow bus everyday of my school years (being a farm girl!) and yes, they are not luxury. but take the cash and buy more supplies!!!!The laughter and giggles that take place on a bus are the best! plus making new friends is always fun! I call shot gun on one of the bump seats!(back row) just kidding, I'm still pondering driving up for that weekend. Trying to talk Jim into needing a visit with his cousins! maybe I'll see you guys there...after all it is only 6 hours away.
I'd pay for a more luxious ride, just because I know what the traffic can be like.
Save your money, girls! Ride the school bus! That's what I would do if I could be there.
Dena K.
I'd rather take the cheaper ride and have more money to shop with for sure! The ride would only last a short period of time compared to the enjoyment I would get from all the extra goodies I could pick up! :) Thanks for the opportunity!
I think I would rather go the cheap route and take the school bus. That way if I was there I could save my money for shopping :D
Heather Main
totally school bus. it will take you back to field trips when you were a kid and you save money for shopping.
Dorinda
Oh a "Crop Crawl" how fun does that sound!!! SHOP, Shop, shop! I would definitely save my money and take the good ole school bus so that I could buy more goodies!! Plus taking the School bus would be a momentus occasion, a time to remember and reflect on the many years of riding the yellow beast that I had to endure! :o)
School bus please - what fun to "pretend" to be a kid again and more cash for scrap supplies is always a better choice.
School bus all the way!!! Would use the extra $$ for more scrappy supplies!
Sounds like you guys will have so much fun!! NB is a little far for us to travel!
Janet M
Quispamsis, NB
That sounds like so much fun!! I wish I didn't live 14 hours away!
I'd definitely go on the school bus and save my money for purchasing supplies (& snacks, LOL!)
Being a STAHM it's all about saving as much cashola for scrapbooking bling...so bring on the school bus!!! Have fun at the crop in Calgary, I'll be scrapping up a storm at the Saskatoon crop with Leica!! SO EXCITED!!
Tanya W from Moose Jaw
When it comes to scrapping, cheap bus and more on supplies!!!
Lisa from winnipeg
Wish i could be there!!!
I would definately use the school bus. Anything that lets you save money to buy more scrap supplies and helps you feel young certainly must be the best idea.
