While Allison is "Working" in California . . .

I'm gonna PLAY!!!!!

.....allow me to introduce myself.

I'm the one in the Crop and Cruise poster with my mouth wide open {-- you'll find out why in a few weeks}.
I'm the one you will see posing for crazy photo ops.
I'm the girl with the real short hair.
I'm the one who will scrap with you crazy people in the Crop Room all evening long.
I'm the girl you should come to if you need any extras for a layout.
I'm the one who will see to it that you have the BEST TIME EVER on Crop and Cruise -- it's my mission {and one of the main reasons I'm there}!!!!!!
I'm Jill Hildebrand, from sunny but intensely cold Manitoba, and I'm incredibly excited to be meeting you on Crop and Cruise 2009.

So.......here is my first-ever post on a Blog {wow, eh}!!!!!

I wanted to take this opportunity, while Allison is "schmoozing her heart out" in Anaheim, to highlight just some of the AWESOME Sponsors that have come aboard this year, show you some of my favourite products from them AND some projects I've created using their products.

Diamond Level: Making Memories

One of my favourite tools to use on my layouts and projects. I've already warned Allison to let everyone know they better have one in the Crop Room with them -- fast and easy adhesive for paper, ribbon & much, much more.

My most favourite product from MM right now. You will be using these in one of my cruise classes.

UPSY DAISY:  This company ROCKS!!!!!! I love, Love, LOVE their latest Paper Collections that are just being released at CHA. Here is a sneak peak of what you will see in some of your totes or in the Crop Room. Yeah!!!!!!!

Gold Level:

Prima -
Love all the glimmer and shine that these Say It With Crystals swirls add to a layout.

Hambly -  Can we say "to die for"??? Hambly has some amazingly unique overlays and papers are definitely a Must-Have on my list for any Hambly Kit!!!!!! Love all the graphic designs from this company.

Riff Raff designs -

Can't way enough about the owners & designers of this fabulous up-and-coming Canadian company. You will fall totally in love with all their lazer cut designs. See how I used them on these layouts.

Silver Level:

Scenic Route

As you will find out, I am an admitted "Pattern Paper Freak" and love to mix several patterns on my layouts. I love the bright & bold patterns of Scenic Route -- and they have some awesome embellishments that play well on any layout as well.

Tilano Fresco
This BC-based company holds an incredibly special place in my heart. I connected with their Marketing Rep., Nicole Crosby in Abbotsford a few years ago and began to work with her in created a Magnetic Card Class that promotes their products. Want to know more? Check out this photo and come play with Tilano & me on the cruise!!!!

WallTalk
Rooms in my house. Need I say more? LOVIN' the wall art when the possibilities are endless.

Door Prize Level:

Wooden Decorative Designs

This new, garage-based business is just starting up in Manitoba and is slowing making its way West. I won't say that much about the actual products -- images speak for themselves. She custom-designs wooden monograms (any size), words & more recently these great vinyl designs that I've been using everywhere around my house & on my layouts. I will put in a little plug for the owner -- she's my baby sister, Laura Lee Harms ................ AND SHE"S COMING WITH ME ON THE CRUISE this year!!!!!! It'll be wonderful to have her for a cabin roomie (along with Katharina Doyle of Canadian Scrapbooker), to have her products in my class kits, and to see her try snorkelling for the first time!!!!!!!! Check her stuff out on the cruise.

Well.....that should do it for today. Here's hoping Allison is making some serious connections at CHA. I know she is making us Canadians really PROUD. You will all love Allison's beautiful smile, her amazing photography talents, her contagious laugh & her Award-Winning personality.

smiles,
jill

Jill - sounds like you have all sorts of fun things for us to see and do, can hardly wait to meet everyone and have fun learning things and seeing all the new ideas.

Of course a break from the cold and snow is also very welcome although today it is a balmy -25 C here in Yellowknife with the sun shining bright.

And why no mention of your lovely older sister who will be staying home in the cold of Manitoba (making sure your husbands are behaving themselves)?? Huh?!
Hope you two have a great time and share some fabulous memories together. Lisa
